Week 2, shot 2, details. Homage to SP.

The scale says I'm down 2.7 pounds. That could happen routinely, so I'm not considering this quite a miracle.

I went back to tracking on Cronometer, I miss the SP tracker, and noticed I had a calorie deficit on all days, some as much as the recommended 500 calories. That means I quit larger portions and snacking!

What I also have done is created a higher protein diet and am scrambling to find higher fiber foods as filling myself up on veggies, my usual go-to, does not supply enough nutrient roughage. Chick pea pasta is my go-to as is steel-cut oatmeal.

Small details:

It seems as the drug kicks in, I don't want to eat at all and have to force myself. The thought of eating 2 eggs with avocado and tomatoes is gagging. The 30g protein drink might work better, but I bet I could skip eating all day the way I feel right now. Peppermint tea was was my first drink this morning.

The drug wore off slowly all week and I felt great yesterday morning. Soooo, feeling great, I hands and knees and artificial hip cleaned the floors. scrubbed toilets. Loads of laundry. Cooked for the week, an old and useful habit. Gave myself my jab in the afternoon and here I am today.

Tired, cold (side effect), headachy, my back hurts from the excessive activity from the day before and I don't want to eat.

Success is TBD.

  4. So far, so good (??) I've been in the habit of tossing back a mid-morning protein shake to hold me over until lunchtime for quite a while... I like the Premier Protein 25-g in 12-oz boxes
