Val's post and pictures brough back lots of memories for me. How to get a cast horse up when you are by yourself. Yell at the horse. That doesn't work. Sit on the floor amongst all the horse stuff and pull on various parts. It took me a while but we managed to make it work. Lucky for me said horse loved me. Here's for you Val, proof of my past. I WAS a lot thinner then, about 1970. This is Fancy, my Heinze 57. Her ears were always back. She wasn't the brightest bulb in the barn and only liked you if you had food. That was then and this is now. I'm a lot older and bigger. I still think I could get up in a saddle. It wouldn't look too graceful, though! 😁
