70 is the new 50.  Saturday, DD2, hubby and dog showed up at my house for what I thought was their visit to the vet to get Chewy's sutures removed. After they entered and I was busy feeding the required cheese to my minute guest, the doorbell rang. My SIL yelled out the neighbor was at the door and I needed to answer it.  It wasn't my neighbor, it was my cousin from Florida! My only utterance was Oh Sh..! Then I cried. We had a good catch up. Turned out she had arrived the day before and stayed with DD2 and her family, getting to know my SIL she never met and of course, Chewy.  There was a dinner party planned for the evening so off we went.  I walked into the place, saw my grandkids and proceeded to say hi to them and my other daughter.  Another Oh Sh..! left my mouth as there sat my brother. More tears. Neither my cousin nor brother knew the other was coming so that was another surprise. They hadn't seen each other since we were teens! Here are my cousin, brother and me.

It's raining, it's pouring... My BIL is in the hospital with, of all things, an ear infection. As of today he's been in for 4 days in IVs. It must be a doozy. My little granddog, Chewy, had a tumor removed from his paw on Tuesday morning; biopsy pending. LOL, he's got the diva 1990's collar instead of the cone of shame. His human daddy had his appendix out the next day! Home the same day, now my DD2 is caring for both demanding family members. DH and I are still well!
I'm not much of a Blogger anymore. It may be that my life has nothing going on worthy of sharing, or, I have been too busy to blog. Here goes; I had a small chunk of my upper arm removed in December for basal cell cancer. It did not heal correctly and I had to keep the open wound covered for 3 months. It kept me out of the pool and reduced my arm exercises. It was declared safe about 4 weeks ago. Then... I'd been slightly ill, first a UTI that didn't respond well to the antibiotic so two weeks of different ones to cure me. Exactly the same day I finished those, my GI tract kicked up. I had a C. diff. infection from being on the other antibiotics. Another 10 days of different antibiotics made me feel well, but the doc warned me I could have a rebound occurrence in about 2 weeks. Great. I'm eating all the right things and taking probiotics to ward off evil bacteria. The first night on the GI antibiotics, my Fitbit woke me to an alarm that I'd had an A-fib episode, ab
