I need THIS outlet!

I am back if only for a brief commentary or two.

Sad to say, I did not attend any rally yesterday. My body wasn't into it. My thoughts were there, though.

I can only hope that my fellow citizens have seen enough writing on the walls to make a change.

I read an interesting article in "The Independent" concerning a reason the administration may have touted it's latest cancelled TV public spectacle: to introduce us to a horror and numb us to the effect. Kind of like watching live-action military strikes on "suspect" boats. The first one was horrific. The reactions to latest was "Oh, they are at it again." Sigh.

There have been a multitude of such introductions in this administration. Click your heels together three times and the immigrants get whisked away. There's no place like home (Congo)  when your home is Guatemala? "Their cheating in elections" has become as numbing as KARS FOR KIDS.

From Mr. Google AI: Confirmation Bias: Once you notice it a couple of times, your mind begins to look for and remember instances that confirm it is everywhere while ignoring the many times it does not appear.

RESIST!

This concludes my public service rant for the moment.

  1. OMG, well stated. It is absolutely mind numbing. Feels like a nightmare, but. . . . it persists in the daylight hrs. People need to wake up. I pray the mid-term results send a HUGE message to ALL politicians . . . we’re mad as hell and not going to take it any more.
